Dental offices have made numerous alterations to their IPAC practices. Congratulations for all the hard work! Where does that leave the dental office one year later? This course will take a quick snap shot of the highlights from 2017 to ensure an “inspection ready” best practice office.
The majority of the course will focus on the canopy of IPAC … safeguarding! Dental professionals have used the term “safeguarding” in their record keeping practices but may not have considered its application as the umbrella to IPAC.
Dental Unit Water Lines (DUWL) Demo With the latest IPAC recommendations, the topic of DUWL maintenance is receiving a high profile. Offices are asked to have both in writing and in action procedural steps for cleaning, disinfecting and testing of DUWL. Many dental offices have been asking for a live demonstration of the specific steps. You asked and we listened!
The afternoon portion of this course is a hands-on demonstration of a complete DUWL maintenance system and procedural steps. This segment will be delivered by Ms. Lisa Thomson. Lisa’s knowledge base comes with a combination of over 30 years of experience as a former RDH
